Rubicon, a prominent sustainable technology provider, approached Red Ribbon Communications with the goal of boosting brand recognition for their Synapse Ultra residential solar solution with media outreach during their “Switch on Summer” marketing campaign. Rubicon signed a four-month retainer with Red Ribbon and we kicked off the campaign with a targeted consumer survey to understand the public’s perception of and interest in solar energy. The insights gained shaped a series of educational articles, tackling topics from the economics of solar solution ownership to sustainable loadshedding strategies.
One of our standout PR strategies involved positioning Rubicon’s Brand Head for Synapse Ultra, Dylan Schnetler, as a thought leader in South Africa’s energy discourse. By leveraging timely narratives around events like the UN’s International Day of Clean Energy, we showcased Schnetler as a go-to expert in green energy solutions.
