Digiata
Digiata, a leading integration partner in the financial services industry, approached Red Ribbon Communications to document their “Doing Good” initiatives. Despite their focus on technology and finance, Digiata is deeply committed to addressing youth unemployment in South Africa through their corporate social responsibility programs.
Youth unemployment has lasting negative effects on material and mental well-being, earning potential, and economic inclusion. To combat this, Digiata focus on developing relevant work and life skills for young people.
Their corporate social responsibility initiatives aim to address the skills mismatch, empowering disadvantaged youth to become economically active, support their families, and contribute to a more equal society.
Our challenge was to create compelling video content that would effectively communicate Digiata’s mission and impact. We embarked on a comprehensive project, visiting various skills development organisations supported by Digiata.
Our team captured high-quality photographs, filmed engaging videos, and conducted in-depth interviews with students benefiting from these programs.
By leveraging our expertise in visual storytelling, we crafted a series of testimonial videos that powerfully illustrated Digiata’s efforts in addressing the skills mismatch and empowering disadvantaged youth. These videos showcased real stories of young people acquiring valuable work and life skills, highlighting their journey towards economic activity and improved well-being.
Our video content not only documented Digiata’s corporate social responsibility initiatives but also brought to life their vision of a more equal society. The resulting material provided Digiata with impactful, authentic content for their website, effectively demonstrating their commitment to youth development and social change.
This project exemplifies Red Ribbon Communications ability to plan, conceptualise, and execute meaningful video content that resonates with audiences and amplifies our clients’ messages.
